In the second start of his young NFL career, Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock came out with guns blazing. With 3 minutes remaining in the second quarter, Lock already has completed 13 of 15 pass attempts for 213 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Broncos to a 24-3 lead over the Houston Texans. Lock currently has 16.8 fantasy points, already surpassing his ESPN projection of 13.8 points for the week.
This comes on the heels of a Week 13 performance, which saw Lock get off to a quick start against the Los Angeles Chargers. In that game, Lock threw for two TDs in the first quarter, before having a relatively quiet performance over the final three quarters of play. Lock finished that game with 12.9 fantasy points.
Stay tuned to see if Lock can keep up his strong performance into the second half to lead the Broncos to victory.
