Fantasy football owners that have remained faithful to Aaron Jones were rewarded in a big way in Week 14. Heading into the 4th quarter of a Week 14 showdown with Washinfgton, Jones has rushed 11 times for 107 yards and one touchdown, bolstered by one long run of 42 yards. Jones also added four receptions for 31 yards, on his way to 23.8 fantasy points. This outscores his season average of 16.4 points by 7 points with a full quarter of play remaining.
This performance was overdue, as Jones managed only 3.8 and 7.1 points in his last two outings. Jamaal Williams has appeared to truly take a backseat in this game, carrying the ball only three times for 13 yards and no receptions. Jones has taken the reigns of this backfield for the time being and will look to add to his strong performance in the fourth quarter.
