The Jets and the Dolphins might not have been as exciting as the 49ers and Saints, but it still had plenty of intrigue and if you like kickers, well, you got a special treat! Miami kicker Jason Sanders kicked seven field goals, including the game winner, as Miami was allergic to the end zone.

Ryan Fitzpatrick kept moving the ball well, but had no luck completing touchdowns, as he threw for 245 yards and one interception. His best work was extending plays with his legs, as he rushed eight times for 65 yards.

Losing DeVante Parker and Albert Wilson to concussions didn’t help the Dolphins cause, but Sanders was there to save the day, as he kicked field goals of 22, 37, 25, 28, 31, 53, 47 and what he thought was a game-winning kick of 37 yards. He also missed a 34-yard field goal attempt in the third quarter.

Unfortunately for you kicker afficianadoes, the Jets kicker, Sam Ficken ended up the hero, as he kicked a 44-yarder to win with no time left on the clock. Sam Darnold converted 20-of-36 passes for 270 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and led his team back in the final seconds to get them into field goal range.

Sanders fell short of the record unfortunately, as the Titans Rob Bironas kicked eight in a 38-36 win.
