This isn’t all that surprising, but further confirms that Brogdon is good to go and will play. Carry on.
Indiana Pacers PG Malcolm Brogdon says he’ll be able to play in Monday night’s game vs. the Los Angeles Clippers.
Malcolm Brogdon says he’s good to go tonight vs LAC. It was a matter of pain tolerance when he sat out in New York. He dislocated his right fifth metacarpal and had ligament/tendon damage - “but people play with hand injuries all the time,” he added.

Brogdon missed the Pacers’ game over the weekend vs. the New York Knicks due to a hand injury, and he says he’s been able to manage things and is “good to go.” With Brogdon back in there, Aaron Holiday should go back to the bench and T.J. McConnell could see fewer minutes on the second unit. Still, we’ll need to monitor the news to see Brogdon is confirmed in the lineup and if he’ll have a minutes restriction.
Brogdon is a tough call in both DFS and season-long fantasy basketball. The hand injury could make him reluctant to shoot and he’s at a risk of re-injury in-game. I’d shy off Brogdon in DFS and wait and see in season-long. If he isn’t restricted, go ahead and play him in most formats. The line on this game is basically a pick ‘em at Pacers -0.5, so Brogdon and Kawhi Leonard’s statuses should swing things.
