Danilo Gallinari ruled out Monday vs. Jazz

Oklahoma City Thunder SF/PF Danilo Gallinari will not play Monday night vs. the Utah Jazz due to an ankle injury.

This is a bit of a surprise with Gallo not being mentioned with the injury before tonight’s slate. Gallinari had been playing well prior to the injury, shooting 40.3% from downtown while averaging 18.3 points per game this season.

With Gallinari out, we could see Nerlens Noel jump into the starting lineup alongside Steven Adams. Abdel Nader should have a larger role, playing more time at PF with no Gallo. There’s also a chance the Thunder opt for smaller lineups with Dennis Schroder, Chris Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander all starting/seeing time together.
