Report: A.J. Green is day-to-day in Week 15, Auden Tate dealing with MCL sprain

The Bengals wide receiver corps is rather banged up heading into Week 15. We break down the fantasy football implications.

The Cincinnati Bengals have dealt with a host of injuries at the wide receiver position, and things don’t get much better in Week 15. Auden Tate suffered an MCL sprain in Week 14 that is being reported by Tyler Dragon as mild. Additionally, head coach Zac Taylor described wide receiver A.J. Green as day-to-day, according to Dragon.

An MCL sprain can cost a player anywhere from no games to a month or more. A mild sprain suggests Tate could be back for Week 16 and is not yet ruled out for Week 15. John Ross made his return from IR this past week and was third in snaps behind Tyler Boyd and Alex Erickson. He will likely continue working into more snaps, particularly if Tate misses some time.

Green remains perpetually day-to-day, and there’s no reason to think he’ll play again this season. He remains rostered on 57.8 percent of ESPN teams, which amuses me to no end.
