Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny had come on strong of late, earning more usage due to his strong play. Unfortunately, Sunday night, he went down early with a knee injury against the Rams. Penny was immediately ruled out and we now know why. His MRI showed he has a torn ACL according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Penny has additional damage to his knee and will be out until next year’s training camp. Chris Carson will resume the bulk of the workload moving forward, as the Seahawks position themselves for the playoffs. C.J. Prosise will likely take over backup duties with Penny out. They get a cushy fantasy matchup this week against the Panthers.
