Boston Scott impresses in brief spell in front of Miles Sanders

FINAL UPDATE: Scott had a heck of a game both in Sanders’ absence and as a complement to Sanders when the latter returned to the game. Scott finished with 10 rushes for 59 yards and a touchdown and six receptions for 69 yards in the Eagles overtime win.

UPDATE #2: Sanders has returned in the fourth quarter.

UPDATE: Miles Sanders has returned to the Eagles bench, per beat writer Daniel Gallen. He was dealing with cramping, according to MNF sideline reporter Lisa Salters. In the meantime, Scott now has six rushes for 26 yards and four receptions for 51 yards.

The Philadelphia Eagles entered Week 14 down Jordan Howard, and now they might be missing Miles Sanders. The Eagles running back was spotted headed into the locker room with an unknown injury, according to BGN’s Brandon Gowton.

Boston Scott has taken over the starting role and just scored a touchdown to cut the Giants lead to 17-10. Sanders left the game having rushed 11 times for 37 yards and caught three passes for 13 yards. Scott now has four rushes for 21 yards and the score, and has caught two passes for 18 yards. Jay Ajayi has rushed twice for five yards.
