What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 14?
Tyreek Hill’s Week 14 DFS salary is $8,100 this week, down $800 from last week. Last week against the Oakland Raiders, Hill caught “only” five passes for 55 yards and no touchdowns. It was a disappointing performance for Hill considering the Kansas City offense put up 40 points.
Hill and the Chiefs face off against Stephon Gilmore and the New England Patriots this week. Gilmore is in the running for defensive player of the year, so Hill could have a hard time finding success against the talented New England secondary.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 13?
Tyreek Hill injured his hamstring last week, but Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs are optimist he can suit up this week. Hill’s Week 13 DFS salary is $8,900, a season-high for Hill in 2019, making him the most expensive wide receiver in daily fantasy this week.
Hill and the Chiefs face off against the division rival Oakland Raiders and the NFL’s 3rd-worst defense against opposing wide receivers. It’s no surprise Hill’s salary is so high this week, but it will be important to monitor his practice status all week to make sure he’s actually able to play.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 12?
Tyreek Hill and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs have a late bye in Week 12, but then have a tantalizing matchup on the horizon after the bye, hosting the Oakland Raiders in Week 13.
Tyreek gobbles up targets from Patrick Mahomes, and there’s no reason to think that will change any time soon, especially against one of the league’s worst pass defenses.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 11?
Tyreek Hill just keeps going. Despite a devastating loss to the Ryan Tannehill-led Tennessee Titans, Hill did his part to try to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to a victory last week. Hill led his team in targets, receptions, and receiving yards, snagging 11 passes for 157 yards and a touchdown.
The Chiefs have a long week as they travel to face the division rival Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football. It’s safe to say Hill’s price will continue to raise after his strong showing the past two weeks (305 total yards and two touchdowns). He’ll be a popular addition for Showdown lineups.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 10?
Mahomes who? In Tyreek Hill’s first full game with Matt Moore at quarterback, he still managed to go off on six catches for 140 yards and a touchdown. It should be no surprise then that Hill’s Week 10 salary is $7,700, making him the second-most expensive wide receiver in daily fantasy this week behind only Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints who is on an MVP-caliber pace as a receiver.
This week, the Chiefs hit the road to face the Ryan Tannehill-led Tennessee Titans. There’s an outside chance Patrick Mahomes returns to the field this week, so monitor Mahomes’s practice status all week. But even if Mahomes isn’t ready to go, Matt Moore has shown enough that you can still trust Tyreek Hill, even against the Titans and the 10th-best defense against opposing wide receivers.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 9?
Hill’s Week 9 salary is $7,400, making him the fifth-most expensive wide receiver in daily fantasy this week. It’s unlikely Patrick Mahomes is ready to go Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Minnesota Vikings, but backup Matt Moore proved more than capable of getting Hill the ball, with Hill hauling in six of his nine targets for 76 yards.
It appears that Kirk Cousins and the Vikings offense has finally turned a corner, so their Week 9 contest against the Chiefs could very well turn out to be a shootout. A high-scoring affair would be great for fantasy owners, and Hill is an integral part of the Kansas City offense. If the Chiefs need to put up numbers to keep pace with the Vikings, Hill will be one of Matt Moore’s primary targets for the second week in a row.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 8?
In Tyreek Hill’s second game back after injury, he lost his starting quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, to injury for three to six weeks. It’s unfortunate for Hill’s fantasy owners as he’s logged over 150 receiving yards and three touchdowns in his two games back. Last week, 74 yards and a touchdown from that total were logged against the struggling Denver Broncos.
With Matt Moore now in at quarterback and a tough matchup against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, it will be interesting to see how Hill’s DFS price is affected due to the quarterback change. Hill hasn’t shown any signs of rust after returning, but it’s too be determined if his quarterback will be able to say the same thing with a full week of defensive game-planning from the Packers.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 7?
Welcome back, Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs wide receiver returned from his clavicle injury in a big way in the team’s Week 6 loss to the Texans. Hill finished the day with five receptions for 80 yards and two touchdowns, which was good for 25 DKFP. That was good for sixth among all wide receivers. The other notable Chiefs wide receivers were Mecole Hardman (8.5 DKFP), Byron Pringle (4.4 DKFP), and De’Anthony Thomas (0.4 DKFP). Demarcus Robinson was targeted four times but caught zero passes.
The Chiefs have a short week as they travel to face the Broncos on Thursday Night Football. That will be a Showdown game, and it’s safe to say Hill’s price will skyrocket once it is available. He showed he has not lost a step and there was no real rust of note. He’ll be a popular addition for Showdown.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 6?
There is talk Hill could potentially return in Week 6, but realistically we have to wait for him to return to the practice field. It would be a great week to see him back on the field. The Chiefs are set to face off against a Houston Texans defense ranked 31st against opposing wide receivers in 2019. Despite the relatively modest price tag of $6,900 into Week 6, stay away at least one more week until news that Hill is set to return to practice. Stay tuned for updates on Tyreek’s Week 6 game status as news develops.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 5?
Reports are in that Tyreek Hill is not scheduled to return for Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts after suffering a shoulder injury in Week 1. Every week the Kansas City Chiefs remain unbeaten is another week the Chiefs can afford to take their time with Hill’s return. The Chiefs will likely release a status update after Sunday’s game regarding Hill’s timetable for return, but until that point, it’s safe to avoid Hill in Week 5.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 4?
Tyreek’s DFS salary remains unchanged from last week at $7,000, but there’s still questions regarding Hill’s eventual availability. Early reports are that Hill’s injured arm is finally out of a sling and he was seen dribbling a basketball in the Chiefs locker room last week, so he could be back sooner rather than later. However, until a full week’s worth of practices on the injury report, stay away for at least another week.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 3?
There’s no word yet on when Hill will return, but the fact that he has avoided IR to this point is at least encouraging. He was no longer in a sling as of Wednesday, September 18th, and observations were positive. You can still add Hill to your daily fantasy lineup for $7,000 in Week 3, but stay away until it’s reported that Hill is back practicing with the team.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 2?
Hill suffered a shoulder injury in Week 1, leaving the game after two catches for 16 yards. He went to the hospital due to complications, and while he will not undergo surgery, he is expected to miss several weeks.
Hill enters Week 2 with a $7,300 salary at DraftKings, and is not to be rostered until we know when he will return to action. It is not a question of “if” Hill will miss games, but a question of “how many games will he miss?” Avoid Hill in all daily fantasy lineups until further notice.
Tyreek Hill 2019 fantasy football preview
The question for Tyreek Hill was never his ability to produce in the NFL. It was always whether his off-the-field issues would limit or prevent his ability to ever see the field. After concerns regarding Hill’s playing status for 2019 have seemingly come and gone, the NFL world can — for now — put those concerns to bed.
In 2018, Hill finished with over 1,600 total yards and 13 touchdowns, on his way to helping teammate Patrick Mahomes win the league’s MVP award. Part of the reason Mahomes and Hill were able to put up freakish numbers all season was due to a Kansas City defense that was practically nonexistent. The Chiefs offense was forced to win the game week in and week out, so the offense had to constantly keep its foot on the pedal.
Now that Steve Spagnuolo has come in as defensive coordinator, the Chiefs hope the defense will be improved from last season. Andy Reid’s quick offensive scheme shouldn’t change too much, so all that means is a defense that can only serve to get the ball back into Patrick Mahomes’ hands faster, and this will only help Tyreek Hill’s numbers.
What is Tyreek Hill’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 1?
Hill enters Week 1 with a $7,600 salary at DraftKings, fourth highest among all receivers behind the expected group of Odell Beckham Jr., Julio Jones and Mike Evans. Hill has his work cut out for him as he is projected to line up against Jalen Ramsey of the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1, but with Hill’s over-the-top speed and Mahomes’s ability to extend plays, it would be a tough ask for the Jacksonville defense to stop Tyreek Hill for four quarters.
