What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 13?
A-Rob had his biggest fantasy week of the season breaking 100 receiving yards for the first time since Chicago’s playoff loss in January. He’ll take the momentum from a 6-131-1 stat line (28.10 DKFP) and a $6,700 price tag into a Thanksgiving Day game in Detroit. Worth noting, the Lions are allowing the third-most passing yards per game.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 12?
Allen Robinson faded to the background as Jalen Ramsey shadowed him on Sunday night. The Bears’ WR1 caught four for 15 yards, his second-lowest yard total this season. Week 12 looks a bit more promising as the Bears host a Giants team that’s allowing the second-most DKFP per game to opposing wide receivers. A-Rob is priced at $6,500.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 11?
The Bears benefitted from Matthew Stafford’s absence in Week 10. Even still, it was a close game that came down to the final drive. Chicago just hasn’t been the impressive team we thought they would be this season. Mitch Trubisky, though, had one of his best games of the year, throwing three touchdowns. Sadly, none of those went to Allen Robinson.
Regardless of not reaching the endzone, Robinson tied Golladay for most targets in the game with nine, reeling in six for 86 yards. After a dud his last time out, A-Rob got right back to his average performance level. In Week 11, he’ll likely draw Jalen Ramsey in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The Bears are underdogs, and we know that playing from behind is always a plus for Robinson. The DraftKings Showdown prices have yet to be released, but he should be considered regardless.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 10?
This season has been a big bust for the Bears. Mitchell Trubisky has underperformed all season, and the defense isn’t what we expected it would be. The passing game is nearly non-existent, after recording a measly 125 yards, over a third of which went to the running backs. This is a terrible sign for Allen Robinson moving forward, who was in an ideal matchup against the Eagles defense but saw a season-low five targets and only caught one of them. Following four consecutive losses, Chicago finds itself at the bottom of the NFC North.
So where do we go from here? Well, I’ll tell you where the Bears go. They’ll head back home to host the Lions. Detroit loves to throw the ball (third-most passing yards per game in the league) and it also loves to allow other teams to throw the ball (third-most allowed per game). If Chicago is unable to capitalize in the air here (weather permitting), then there isn’t much hope for A-Rob. His price has dropped back down to $6,300, making him a more justifiable option. Still, I don’t want to go anywhere near this Bears offense.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 9?
If I were a Bears fan, I’d probably advocate to never kick a field goal again. Alright, maybe that’s a bit extreme, but this one was sure to bring up bad memories. Eddy Pineiro missed a 41-yard field goal off the upright which would’ve put the Bears ahead in a very important game against the Chargers. Now, Chicago is on the bottom of the NFC North watching Green Bay and Minnesota run away with it. Fortunately, Allen Robinson is still getting his targets.
It was another team-leading target share week for A-Rob, who maintained his season-long seven-target floor. With just five catches for 62 yards though, he had his lowest DKFP output since Week 2. But fear not, next week the Bears travel to Philly to face the Eagles’ pass-friendly defense. Carson Wentz and crew got back on track with a win in Buffalo, which will hopefully mean the Bears will be playing from behind. That would significantly raise the possibility of a big game from Robinson. The downside is that DraftKings adjusted his price ($6,800) accordingly, so you’d have to spend up to tap into the Bears’ WR1.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 8?
Last season, it allowed the fewest rushing yards in the league, but something has happened to this Bears defense. This is now two consecutive games giving up over 32 DKFP to running backs. The Bears found themselves losing by 26 with four and a half minutes left to play. Queue Allen Robinson II garbage time. A-Rob caught three of his ten receptions (16 targets,) one of which resulted in his lone touchdown. While the Bears made a valiant effort, inevitably coming up short 36-25, Robinson put up his third 20+ DKFP performance of the season (second in a row.)
And so it seems that if Chicago is trailing, A-Rob will benefit. We may not see that same game script in Week 8, though. The broken down Chargers are on a three-game losing streak after Melvin Gordon failed to convert a game-winning touchdown, fumbling twice in a row from within the one-yard-line (the second being recovered by the Titans to end the game.) In a matchup where the Bears should be able to handle the Chargers in Chicago, facing a defense that has allowed the fifth-fewest passing yards per game and Robinson’s salary ($6,000) hitting its highest point since Week 2, I’m not too confident in picking him this week.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 7?
The bye week hasn’t made us forget that Allen Robinson II is coming off of his best week of the season. After scoring 28.70 DKFP in London against the Raiders and consistently seeing at least seven targets each week, Robinson has jumped into weekly wide receiver consideration for DFS lineups.
The Bears come back from their week off as home favorites against the Saints. It’s a massively important game for Chicago to stay in the NFC North race, as each of its division rivals are playing well this season. The Bears are hopeful that Mitchell Trubisky will be healthy, but if he can’t go, Chase Daniel will continue to lead the way. He’s a competent backup and has given A-Rob his only touchdown of the season. With Robinson’s price slightly dropping to $5,500 and potentially being in a game that his team will be playing from behind, I think it’s worth taking a look at him for a mid-range option.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 6?
He did it! He finally did it! All it took was a game in another country with the Bears’ backup quarterback, but Allen Robinson II finally caught his first (and second) touchdown of the season. Surprisingly enough, Chicago had too much difficulty stopping Josh Jacobs (32.30 DKFP) and lost its second game this season. A 17-0 halftime deficit forced Chase Daniel to throw the ball, which led to seven catches on eight targets (game-high) for 97 yards. 28.70 DKFP is of course A-Rob’s highest fantasy output of the season, and it could certainly stay that way.
The Bears have a bye week (vacation in London?) and are hoping that will be enough time for Mitchell Trubisky to fully recover from his shoulder injury. When they return in Week 7, the Bears will welcome the Saints to Soldier Field. New Orleans has been piling up the wins with backup QB Teddy Bridgewater, so even with Drew Brees out, Chicago may be playing from behind again. Regardless of game script, it seems like we can rely on a seven-target floor for Robinson, but it will be hard to predict his touchdowns.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 5?
In a game with little offense, which is starting to become the norm for Chicago, Allen Robinson II put together a solid performance. The Bears ended up beating the Vikings 16-6, and Robinson led the Bears with seven receptions on seven targets for 77 yards. He’s been targeted at least seven times in all four games this season, though he’s yet to find the end zone. Seven targets is a decent floor, but we’ll want to see some red zone production out of him before he becomes a DFS threat. Side note: I never thought I’d say “seven” so many times in one paragraph.
Unfortunately (although it could open things up) for the Bears’ offense, Mitchell Trubisky suffered a shoulder injury against the Vikings. It’s doubtful he’ll will play this week as the Bears head to London to take on the Raiders, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport. The offense now rests in the hands of Chase Daniel, and it’s unclear how he’ll utilize his WR1. A-Rob’s price has plateaued at $5,600. These games across the pond can be tricky, since it’s unfamiliar territory and the teams have to adjust their preparation routines. It could be a good spot against the Raiders, who are one of the worst teams against the pass in the league, but it feels like too much uncertainty for me. I’ll pass on Robinson in Week 5.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 4?
The Chicago Bears finally tapped into their scoring potential. All it took was playing a weak Washington team, who totaled five turnovers. In any case, Mitchell Trubisky capitalized and registered his first three touchdowns of the season, which is a great sign for Allen Robinson. Somehow, all three TDs went to Taylor Gabriel, though. Trubisky could’ve had four, but he under-threw A-Rob in the endzone, landing in the hands of Josh Norman. Still, Robinson tied Gabriel for the most targets (seven) and receptions (six,) totaling 12 DKFP for no. 12.
The Bears have a tough matchup in Week 4 against their division rivals from Minnesota. It’s a home game for Chicago and it should be viewed as a must-win since the NFC North is already shaping up to be one of the most competitive divisions in the league. Allen Robinson’s price tag is $5,600, so you wouldn’t have to spend up for him. Unfortunately, the volume from Trubisky just isn’t there, and with the Vikings’ defense tied with the Rams’ for sixth-fewest points allowed per game, the touchdowns likely won’t be there either. Taylor Gabriel did suffer a concussion on Monday night, so if he’s unable to go, that would be a slight bump for A-Rob. You can find better options at his price this week, though.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 3?
I wasn’t going to be right about him every week. Unfortunately, Allen Robinson II fell victim to another slow offensive competition, the third-lowest scoring of the week to be exact (excluding Monday Night Football.) If it happens again in Week 3, we might just have to assume that this Bears offense is going to be unimpressive all season. All things considered, A-Rob showed some promise. He was Trubisky’s most-targeted receiver (seven targets,) leading the Bears in catches. Of course, 8.10 DKFP is nothing to write home about, but the Broncos pass defense is proving to be one of the best in the league, allowing the second-fewest passing yards and touchdowns (again, excluding Monday Night Football’s teams.)
Looking ahead, the Bears travel to the country’s capital in what should be a much more pass-friendly matchup. Washington has given up six pass TDs (tied second-most) and could finally provide the opportunity for Robinson to get his first score of the season. He’ll get some extra rest since this is a Monday night game for the Bears. His DFS price tag is set at $5,600, making him the highest-priced wide receiver from the final game of the week. Still, don’t be deterred by Robinson’s low Week 2 numbers, this a great spot for he and Trubisky to build chemistry.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 2?
My friends will tell you that I thoroughly enjoy being right. Well, I’m enjoying being right about A-Rob. In the lowest scoring game of the week, Allen Robinson II was one of the only bright spots, grabbing seven passes for 102 receiving yards. His 20.20 DKFP were the most of any player in the Packers/Bears matchup. Moving forward, I believe we can expect this sort of performance from the Bears’ WR1, especially if Mitchell Trubisky and company can figure out how to be productive and score points.
Robinson will have the chance to build on his Week 1 performance in a Week 2 battle in Denver. The Broncos were a middle-of-the-pack defense last season, but could improve due to a better quarterback situation with Joe Flacco, which would theoretically take some pressure off the defensive unit. A-Rob is priced at $6,100, which I expect to trend up as the season goes on. I could definitely see him putting up another 20 DKFP performance this week.
Allen Robinson II 2019 fantasy football preview
Coming off of a 12-4 season with the third-best record in the conference, the Chicago Bears are set as the favorites to claim the NFC North title again. Having one of the best defenses in the league certainly plays a factor, as the Bears allowed the fewest points of any NFL team last season. But a developing offense could be the key to a Super Bowl winning run. Speaking of which Chicago starts the season with the eighth-shortest odds (+1600 on the DK Sportsbook) to do so.
Mitchell Trubisky is entering his third season and has, so far, improved in every stat category season over season. It’s very possible that we’ll see that trend continue and, in theory, Allen Robinson II would benefit. Robinson’s athleticism and talent is up there with the elite receivers. His biggest hurdle will be how frequently he’s targeted. Last season, he ended with just over 18% of Chicago’s targets, although he did miss three games.
If A-Rob stays healthy, expect to see a few weeks with high fantasy numbers. The biggest concern is consistency, as he’ll have to compete with Anthony Miller, Taylor Gabriel, Trey Burton, Tarik Cohen and David Montgomery for target share. A slightly smaller concern is Trubisky’s reliability.
What is Allen Robinson II’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 1?
You’ll have to navigate to DraftKings’ Showdown section if you’re interested in picking Robinson in Week 1, as the Bears host the Packers on Thursday night to celebrate the NFL’s 100th season. Robinson ($8,600) is the fifth-most expensive player on the one-game slate. The Bears are three-point favorites, as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers look to get back toward the top of the NFC North after a shaky season.
Last season against Green Bay, Robinson put up stat lines of 4-61-0 and 3-54-0. But with more receiving threats for the Packers defense to worry about, as well as a potentially close game, a bigger stat line (and a touchdown) from A-Rob isn’t out of the question.
