What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 13?

The once reliable Kupp is becoming a lost cause suddenly, after another poor performance for the third-straight game. Kupp lead the Rams’ in targets at 10 but made six catches for just 36 yards and 9.5 DKFP. He draws a very enticing matchup against the Cardinals in Week 13, who allow an average of 40.1 DKFP to opposing wide receivers but he’s hard to trust right now, even at a $7,100 salary.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 12?

The good news was that Kupp got back on the board in Week 11 after being shutout in Week 11 in some sick and twisted way. The bad news was that it was only three catches for 53 yards and 8.3 DKFP. His outlook isn’t so bright suddenly with a struggling Jared Goff under center and now a matchup against the Ravens in primetime on Monday, which salaries have yet to be released.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 11?

Welp. That didn’t go as planned.

Kupp was somehow, someway shut out of the Rams’ 17-12 loss to the Rams. He drew four targets but wasn’t able to make a catch, giving him an unimaginable zero DKFP on the day. It was truly a game that no one could have drawn up for someone who is targeted as heavily as Kupp to go without a catch in this game. Yes, the matchup wasn’t the best against the Steelers but CB Mike Hilton has been beatable, having allowed 18 receptions on 26 targets for a total of 178 yards and two touchdowns prior to this game.

If you’re upset with Kupp, you won’t be seeing his name on the main slate, as the Rams will be facing the Bears in primetime on Sunday night. Salaries haven’t been released as of yet but you can imagine Kupp will see some sort of decrease from Week 10. Overall, the Bears secondary has some good numbers against opposing receivers but has been beaten as of late. Kupp will see CB Buster Skrine in the slot, who has been targeted against 51 times allowing 32 receptions for 273 yards and two touchdowns.

I promise, things will get better, folks!

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 10?

I don’t know about you guys but I’m excited to get some Kupp back in my life after a Week 9 bye week for the Rams. As a refresher, the last time we saw him take the field, Kupp had his highest fantasy output of the season for 38 DKFP, making seven catches on his 10 targets for 220 yards and a touchdown against Bengals.

Week 10 sees his salary set at $7,300, which is actually a $200 DECREASE since he last took the field. Granted, the matchup on paper isn’t great against the Steelers, whos secondary, overall, is a bit underrated. On the year, opposing receivers are averaging 36.1 DKFP, which is tied for 16th in the league, 159 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns scored. Their slot coverage has been ok at best, as Mike Hilton has allowed 18 receptions on 26 targets for a total of 178 yards and two touchdowns. The problem is, Kupp has essentially dismantled opposing defenses with the exception of 49ers and Falcons. Take those games out and Kupp is averaging 27.6 DKFP over the remaining six games. Don’t have any worry about using him here, especially when his 28.5% target share in the red zone is not only the highest on the team but just outside the top 10 in the league.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 9?

Many people ignored playing Kupp in Week 8 in a tough matchup against the Bengals. Well, Kupp laughed in the face of that tough matchup and came away with his best game of the season, scoring 38 DKFP by catching seven of his 10 targets for 220 yards and a touchdown. It was high highest fantasy total of the year, surpassing the 36.2 game he had against the Browns in Week 3 in which he made 11 catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns. If you were doubting him (I can’t say I wasn’t getting a bit impatient) Kupp just reeled you back in.

Week 9 brings a bye week for the 5-3 Rams, which keeps them out of action until Week 10. When they take the field again, they’ll be hosting the Steelers at home in the 4:25 p.m. ET window. We haven’t seen the Steelers play in what feels like forever but they’ll be taking on the Dolphins Monday night in the primetime slot. As of now, the Steelers have been one of the tougher secondaries in the league but struggle against slot receivers. CB Mike Hilton is their primary slot guy an has been targeted against 20 times allowing 15 receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 8?

Another disappointing outing for the Rams’ top receiver, as he made six catches for only 50 yards and 11 DKFP. He continues to be the primary target of Jared Goff, as he had eight targets but still couldn’t make a significant impact. Gerald Everett came away with 10 targets in this game but only managed four receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. With back-to-back poor outings, the stock of Kupp is quickly dropping.

His Week 8 matchup against the Bengals sees his salary remain relatively the same, increasing by only $100 to $7,500. The matchup isn’t exactly one we’re looking to exploit, as the Bengals have done well against slot receivers. B.W. Webb has been their primary slot defender and has only allowed four receptions on eight targets for 38 yards. With the inflated price tag and lack of production as of late, it’s hard to justify paying up for Kupp in a tough matchup, especially when you consider Michael Thomas, Julio Jones and Tyler Lockett are all in a similar price range and against softer coverage.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 7?

Yikes, what a major let down from Kupp in Week 6 in a tough matchup against the 49ers. That’s the key here, it WAS a tough matchup. However, we’d at least expect Jared Goff to pass for more than 78 yards in the game, which certainly limits the amount of upside any receiver can have. In all, Kupp led the team in targets with six, making four catches for 17 yards and 5.7 DKFP.

All is not lost for Week 7, as the Rams have a date with the Falcons. Kupp, despite the poor performance, still saw his salary rise up to $7,400, which makes him the fifth most expensive receiver on the main slate. He has the luxury of playing out of the slot against a Falcons team that has Damontae Kazee in coverage, who has allowed 10 receptions on 13 targets for 142 yards and a touchdown. If there was a game for Kupp and the Rams offense as a whole to rebound, it’s here.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 6?

At this point, I think it’s very clear that Kupp simply can’t be stopped. Against the Seahawks, Kupp registered his fourth-straight game with over 100 receiving yards with 117. He did so by catching nine of his 17 targets with a touchdown and 29.7 DKFP. In a Rams offense that expected the ball to be spread around, Kupp continues to dominate and owns a 26.6% target share on the team

Week 6 will bring potentially the toughest matchup to date against the 49ers. After shutting down the Browns in Week 5, the Niners have now allowed an average of 150 receiving yards and 32.7 DKFP, both of which are amongst the lowest in the league. Operating mostly out of the slot, Kupp will see coverage from K’Waun Williams, who has been targeted against only 12 times allowing seven receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown. The matchup isn’t ideal but with the number of looks Kupp generates from Goff, volume should remain king in this matchup. Kupp remains second on the team in terms of air yards, trailing only Brandin Cooks with 468.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 5?

If you had Kupp in your lineup for Week 4, you weren’t a happy camper in the first half of this monster 55-40 loss for the Rams. Kupp accounted for only one reception before this game hit the half, leaving owners curious what on Earth is happening with their star receiver. Well, things worked out just fine when all was said and done, as Kupp went go on to post nine receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown, good for 29.9 DKFP. With the huge game, Kupp has now scored at least 20.6 DKFP in his last three games and over 101 receiving yards. On the year, he has a mouth waterline of 32-388-3.

Kupp will be playing against the Seahawks on Thursday night and while salaries have yet to be released, is there really a number that would keep you away? To be fair, the Seahawks have kept slot receivers in check thus far but Kupp has been an absolute force for this Rams offense. In the red zone, he’s accounted for 26 percent of their receptions, a number that could arguably continue to climb as the season progresses.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 4?

Kupp absolutely crushed in Week 3 against the Browns, catching 11-of-12 targets for 102 yards and two touchdowns. That huge performance turned into 36.2 DKFP performance, which including his injury shortened season from last year was his second-highest fantasy output. Now he has a matchup against the Buccaneers in Week 4? Oh, baby!

Kupp is priced at a modest $6,500 this week thanks to the Rams playing in primetime on Sunday. He very well could have jumped into the $7K range but with the game taking place after salaries were released, no change is made. His matchup is very appealing against CB M.J. Stewart, who has been having quite a rough go of it covering the slot. He’s been targeted against 16 times allowing 10 catches for 115 yards and a touchdown.

Kupp drew a season-high 12 targets in the Rams’ 20-13 win over the Browns. His targets were tied with Brandin Cooks. The difference here though is that Kupp is really starting to look like the WR1 in this offense. Robert Woods is still getting targets, averaging 7.6 over the first three weeks but his yardage has really been lacking. Kupp should be viewed as a WR1 on this slate and someone you should really be going out of your way to get in your lineup.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 3?

If you had any question if Kupp was fully recovered from his ACL tear from 2018, I think he answered in Week 2. Kupp was unleased, catching five of his nine targets for 120 yards, including a 66-year bomb that at first looked as if it resulted in a touchdown but was later called back as being down on the one-yard line. Regardless, it was a monster game from one of Jared Goff’s favorite receivers and one that should put any doubts to rest.

The Rams will be featured in the Sunday night primetime game against the Browns. The Showdown contest does not provide salaries until later in the week. We’ll update with the price when it comes available. Nonetheless, Kupp continues to be a primary focus in this offense and will continue to do so in Week 3. He’s very quickly averaging 13.8 YPC while averaging 9.5 targets per game.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 2?

Coming back from his ACL injury, Kupp took the field for the first time since Week 10 of last season. Despite receiving 10 targets from Jared Goff, Kupp turned those into seven receptions for 46 yards and 11.6 DKFP. While this was overly disappointing, it speaks volumes of another week of struggling for Goff, who managed just 23-of-39 passing for 186 yards and a touchdown.

What’s encouraging was that Kupp was second on the team in targets, trailing only Robert Woods, who drew 13 targets. Kupp should continue to be a pivotal part of this offense that with him in the mix averages 10.2 yards per pass attempt with him in the lineup compared to just the 7.5 without him.

Kupp sees a modest raise to $6,000 this week, up only $300 from his salary in Week 1. He draws a very favorable matchup against the Saints, who allowed an average of 40.6 DKFP to opposing receivers, the second-highest mark in the league. They were one of a handful of teams that allowed an average of over 200 receiving yards per game and tied for the fourth most touchdowns allowed at 21. Last season in Week 9, Kupp grabbed five of his six targets for 89 yards and a touchdown.

Primarily their slot receiver, Kupp should draw some soft coverage from CB P.J. Williams, who in slot coverage allowed a reception on 44-of-59 targets 498 yards and three touchdowns. CB Eli Apple should also be in the mix, who Kupp caught all three of his targets against in Week 9 for 74 yards and his touchdown.

Cooper Kupp 2019 fantasy football preview

Leaving a game with a non-contact injury is never a good thing and the Rams’ worst fears came true during their Week 10 matchup against the Seahawks. When the results showed a torn ACL injury for Kupp, it was a blow to the Rams offense that boasts the likes of Brandin Cooks and Roberts Woods. Even still, this was a favorite target of QB Jared Goff in the red zone, as Kupp scored six touchdowns in eight games and saw 12 red zone targets.

While Kupp doesn’t possess that WR1 upside, he’s a solid addition to this Rams offense. Last season, he caught 40 of his 55 targets for 566 yards, good for a 14.2 YPR average. Even in an offense with so many mouths to feed, Kupp averaged 6.8 targets per game and should once again be a significant part of this high powered Rams offense. If you believe the rumors and innuendo, reports have Kupp running even faster than before the ACL tear. If he is indeed the T-1000, all the better for Goff.

What is Cooper Kupp’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 1?

When Kupp avoided the PUP list to start training camp, it was a great sign for his Week 1 status. With no setbacks to speak of, his salary of $5,700 against the Panthers is the 18th highest amongst all receivers and third on the Rams. He should be back in his usual spot in the slot, a position he took 64% of his snaps in last season prior to his injury. Last season, the Panthers allowed an average of 39.2 DKFP and 168 receiving yards per game to opposing receivers, both of which was just within the top 10 highest in the league. With his constant red zone threat, Kupp makes for a fantastic receiving option for your roster.
