There are some quarterbacks widely available that either have good matchups heading into Week 2 or had successful Week 1 performances under a new offense. With that in mind, here are five QBs with under 35% ownership at traditional Yahoo! fantasy leagues that owners can consider picking up in their leagues.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (32 percent)
Allen’s waiver appeal stems from a Week 2 matchup against an awful Giants defense that made Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott look like an All-Pro in Week 1. Prescott had a perfect 158.3 QB rating, passing for 405 yards and four TDs with no picks. Prescott was barely pressured all game by an impotent New York pass rush, getting pressure from the Giants on just three of his 32 dropbacks, per ESPN Stats and Info. Dallas also had receivers running wide open all game against a poor Giants secondary. Allen is in a strong streaming spot for fantasy owners in need of a Week 2 QB.
Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions (26 percent)
In his first game under new offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, Stafford took advantage of an Arizona Cardinals secondary that was without Patrick Peterson, throwing for 385 yards and three TDs, both of which would have been the best single-game marks in his 2018 season. Stafford was plus at outperforming his expected completion percentage based on throw difficulty and got air depth on his passes, averaging about 12 air yards per pass attempt, third highest among Week 1 QBs and a substantial boost from just seven air yards per pass attempt last season.
Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals (10 percent)
Dalton attempted a heavy 51 passes in his first game under new head coach Zac Taylor, second most among all Week 1 QBs and tied for the third highest in any game in Dalton’s career. His accuracy based on the advanced metric expected completion percentage was a tick better than average, and he passed for 418 yards, best among Week 1 QBs. This degree of high passing volume under the new coaching staff is encouraging for Dalton’s fantasy production, and it could continue in the short term if RB Joe Mixon (ankle) misses time. Dalton draws a favorable matchup against the 49ers in Week 2.
Case Keenum, Washington (3 percent)
Washington’s passing game looked poor heading into the season but performed well in Week 1, with rookie WR Terry McLaurin showcasing playmaking ability and Keenum completing 30-of-45 passes for 380 yards and three TDs. Keenum was better than average at outperforming his expected completion percentage in Week 1 based on factors such as defender distance and time to throw. Keenum had a poor 2018 season, but is just one year removed from a productive 2017 season. While QB Dwayne Haskins is a threat eventually take over later in the season, Keenum is a very low-owned option in the short term and has a Week 2 matchup vs. a Cowboys defense that allowed nearly 500 total yards to the Giants in Week 1.
Gardner Minshew, Jacksonville Jaguars (0 percent)
Jaguars’ starting QB Nick Foles suffered a clavicle injury that will sideline him for an extended period, putting Minshew in line to start in the short term. A rookie sixth round pick, Minshew displayed strong accuracy by advanced metrics in relief of Foles, outperforming his expected completion percentage by the second best margin among Week 1 QBs. He finished with a solid 275 yards and two TDs on 25 attempts in place of Foles. While Jacksonville’s offense is not expected to be particularly fruitful in the passing game, Minshew is a deep league option for rosters in need of a QB.
