Point spread, total, moneyline and more for Saints vs. Rams in Week 2

Will the Saints be able to avenge last season’s NFC Championship game loss? We look at the lines and odds on DraftKings Sportsbook.

This game is a rematch of both an explosive 2018 regular-season game, and a controversial NFC Championship. These two teams combined for a whopping 129 points in their two contests against each other last year. Each team is 1-0 entering this matchup, and scored 30 points in Week 1, winning by three or fewer points.

The Saints had a great come-from-behind victory over the Texans on Monday Night Football. They trailed 14-3 at halftime and allowed over 400 yards of total offense. Fortunately, they had 500 yards of their own and sacked Deshaun Watson six times. New Orleans threw the ball on their first five plays, indicating that they may not be the same two-headed heavy rush attack the team was down the stretch in 2018.

The Rams won in the opposite fashion. They had a 13-3 lead at the break before making things tight towards the end of the game. Todd Gurley was able to rush for 97 yards, but he did so on just 14 carries, only 54% of running back carries for the Rams. Los Angeles clearly does not want him carrying a full workload just yet after dealing with knee issues dating back to the end of the 2018 regular season.
