This is the Sunday primetime game and for good reason. The reigning NFC Champions and favorites to repeat, the Rams (+400) are off to a strong start. They are 2-0 and beat the Saints by 18 points last week. The tide of the game changed when Drew Brees got hurt, but the Rams offense never let their foot off the gas when they could have become lackluster down the stretch. Jared Goff had a great game, throwing for 283 yards on 10.1 yards per attempt without turning the ball over. Despite a great start for the Rams, they haven’t gotten much out of Todd Gurley yet. It’s unknown how much the health of his knee is impacting his performance although he hasn’t had the same burst from previous seasons. If can get going, this offense has another gear it can get to.

For the Browns, this game serves as a great litmus test. After get blown out in Week 1 against the Titans, Cleveland bounced back last week by beating the Jets by 20 points on MNF. Odell Beckham Jr. was the star, catching six passes for 161 yards, including a game breaking 89-yard touchdown. With Sam Darnold sick and Trevor Siemian getting hurt during the game, the win didn’t seem to tell us much about the Browns. They got the job done although it was a game where the outcome was more or less expected. After showing suspect accuracy in the first couple of games, this game should go a long way to answering the question of how good is Baker Mayfield?
