We are one day away from Thursday Night Football, which means the rest of the league is starting their practice week. There are some huge matchups on the calendar, with two unexpected undefeated teams in Detroit and Buffalo hosting huge home matchups against Kansas City and New England, respectively. We also get our first byes of the season, with the 49ers and Jets getting the week off.
Now that we’re midway through the week, we have an initial look at where the public is betting on all 15 games this week. Plenty will change, with some of the more square money likely waiting for the final injury reports to arrive. But this gives us an early idea where things are headed at DraftKings Sportsbook.
The TNF matchup is a little over 24 hours away, so the handle and betting split is a little more instructive. The Packers are a four-point favorite and currently 76 percent of the handle 63 percent of the tickets bet are on Green Bay. The Eagles are coming off a tough loss to the Lions and are dealing with a host of injuries. They expect Alshon Jeffery and Dallas Goedert back, but plenty of questions remain.
The Bills and Lions are unbeaten through three weeks, but the public does not like their chances in huge home contests. The Patriots are a seven point road favorite against the Bills, and New England is dominating the split with 95 percent of the handle and 83 percent of tickets bet. The Chiefs are a six-point road favorite against the Lions, and they’re dominating the split even more, with 97% of the handle and 96% of tickets bet.
