The Philadelphia Eagles travel to face the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football in Week 4, and they will welcome back a key contributor. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery returned to practice after missing Week 3 with a calf injury. He was a full participant on Tuesday and Wednesday, and was not listed on the final injury report.
Jeffery had five receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against Washington. He suffered a calf injury in the second quarter of the team’s Week 2 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
Fantasy impact: Week 2 was a rough one for the Eagles, with Jeffery and DeSean Jackson both leaving with injuries. When they went down, Nelson Agholor emerged as one of Carson Wentz’s favorite targets. He was second to Zach Ertz with 11 targets in Week 2, and then led the team with 12 targets in Week 3. He has had some big drops, which could result in Wentz looking to Jeffery, Ertz, and others moving forward. And when Jackson returns, Agholor faces a further decrease in targets.
