T.Y. Hilton sits out third straight practice

Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton did not practice in Week 4, which raises questions about his availability vs. the Raiders. We break down the fantasy football implications.

The Indianapolis Colts face a struggling Oakland Raiders team in Week 4, and quarterback Jacoby Brissett may be without his top weapon. Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton has not practice this week, missing all three days while dealing with a quadricep injury suffered in the first half of the team’s Week 3 win over the Atlanta Falcons. He had eight receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown without playing a snap in the second half.

If Hilton is able to play on Sunday, it would not be the first time he’s sat out a full practice week and played that week, according to Colts beat writer Zak Keefer. He dealt with ankle sprains last December and was rarely practicing, according to Keefer.

Fantasy impact: The Raiders are not a good football team, ranking 30th in pass defense, and the Colts would likely weigh that against Hilton’s quad injury. The Colts receiver depth is limited, with Zach Pascal, Parris Campbell, and Deon Cain among the more productive members. If Hilton cannot go in Week 4, tight ends Jack Doyle and Eric Ebron would likely see more work, as would running back Nyheim Hines.
