The Sunday kickoffs for Week 4 are almost here, and it’s time to start plotting out your Week 4 DFS lineups. In Week 3, a lot of the usual suspects dominated, but we had some under-the-radar names step up in a big way to key folks to victory.
Obviously, you would love to fill your daily lineup with Pro-Bowlers from top to bottom, but spending money on a top-tier player in one spot leaves you potentially scraping the barrel to fill out the rest of your roster.
So here are three running backs that could provide the best value for Week 3. (Values from Draft Kings.)

Austin Ekeler (LAC) - $8,000
This one might come as a bit of a surprise considering Ekeler is the fourth-most expensive running back available in daily fantasy this week, but then you look at his matchup and see the Miami Dolphins as the opponent and it all makes sense. Melvin Gordon has finally returned to the team, but he’s not going to be ready for Week 4 and Justin Jackson has recently shown up on the injury report. It could be another big week for Ekeler.
Wayne Gallman (NYG) - $4,600
Speaking of easy opponents on paper, the New York Giants are set to face off against lowly Washington. With Saquon Barkley set to miss multiple weeks due to an injured ankle, it will likely be Gallman who is asked to step up and take the touches. Gallman isn’t going to produce nearly at Barkley’s level, but there’s still incredible value here for a starting running back who should see a lion’s share of touches against a weak defense.
Derrick Henry (TEN) - $6,300
Derrick Henry has been an enigma in the NFL during his short career, and it’s difficult to predict when he’ll have a monster game versus when he’ll have an absolute dud. In Week 4, there’s a solid chance it’s the former with a favorable matchup against the Atlanta Falcons who just lost one of their star defensive players in Keanu Neal to what appears to be a torn Achilles. The Tennessee Titans offense still leaves a lot to be desired, but Henry is still a solid play this week at $2,500 cheaper than the most expensive running back available in daily fantasy.
