Can Kenyan Drake actually make an impact while playing for the Dolphins? The short answer is maybe, but probably not. He’s seen his role grow every week so far this season, and rushed the ball a season-high 12 times against the Cowboys in Week 3. Drake didn’t do much with the opportunities on the ground, averaging a meager 3.2 yards per carry, but he did get a red-zone rush attempt for the first time all season. Drake has been targeted six times in consecutive weeks, which does raise his floor in PPR formats. But even though he’s seen a bump in usage, it’s tough to trust the former Alabama product until he’s freed of the fish tank.

Fantasy Impact: With Drake’s salary on DraftKings sitting at $4,200, he does have some GPP appeal considering he’s seen an increase in opportunities since Josh Rosen took over. Add in the fact that the Chargers rank 30th in run DVOA, and it might be time to jump on the Drake train. Still, Chris Thompson is sitting there at $4,500 in a matchup with the Giants, and he’s proven to have a safer floor combined with a higher ceiling so far this season, so it makes sense to pay just $300 more.
