How to handle Calvin Ridley injury in Week 4 fantasy football

Is the Falcons second-year receiver a good play in fantasy this week after dealing with some injury concerns?

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley showed up on the team’s injury report this week. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. However, it was just a blip. He was a full-go on Friday, and should be in the lineup with no concerns when the Falcons host the Titans in Atlanta this weekend.

Last year’s rookie sensation picked up where he left off this season. Through the team’s first two games he had a nice 169 yards and two touchdowns. But then, last week against the Colts, he left a lot of fantasy owners disappointed with a meager haul of one catch for six yards.

That’s probably just a one week hiccup though. Ridley’s too established to get into a long slump.

Fantasy impact: Health doesn’t seem to be a concern for Ridley, despite showing up on the injury report this week, so that’s one less thing to worry about while making lineup decisions. Tennessee’s pass defense has been pretty effective, but they’ll have to devote most of their attention to Julio Jones. This might not turn out to be Ridley’s best game of the season or anything like that, but he looks like a safe play this week, and at $5,000 in DK leagues he is a decent bargain.
