One thing the Chicago Bears have going for them this season is that the team returns a very good group of offensive players, including slot receiver Anthony Miller.
Miller’s hands were one of his most touted features as a prospect in the spring of 2018. One draft analyst called the Memphis product’s hands “magic.” He certainly made the most of the balls that were thrown to him too. Despite having only 33 receptions last season, on 54 targets, he turned seven of those catches into touchdowns, the second most receiving touchdowns among all rookies.
Outside of the touchdowns though, he didn’t put up huge numbers, just 423 yards. However, those scores were enough to make him a popular sleeper pick in fantasy drafts this year. But is he ready to fill a starting spot in your lineup?
Fantasy impact: Though he did manage to play in 15 contests and one playoff game, a shoulder injury from Week 3 plagued him throughout the season, especially down the stretch. A sprained ankle limited his work in camp and the preseason this year, so we still don’t know just how ready he’ll be to start the season.
