Point spread, total, moneyline and more for Chiefs-Jaguars in Week 1

The Chiefs and Jaguars will face-off in Week 1, and Jacksonville will be doing it with a new QB at the helm. Nick Foles will attempt to show he was worth the four-year, $88 million contract he signed in March. The Chiefs featured the league’s most prolific offense in 2018, ranking first in Football Outsiders DVOA, but they ranked just 26th on the defensive side of the ball. After losing Dee Ford, Eric Berry, and Justin Houston over the off-season, it is difficult to see them performing much better in 2019.

As for that offense, after a tumultuous few months, Tyreek Hill will be back in the lineup and continue to be a nightmare for opposing defenses. Jags star corner Jalen Ramsey is expected to shadow Hill all over the field, giving us a true battle for the ages. If Ramsey can limit Hill in any way, that will make life tougher for the Chiefs. With that said, Ramsey finished the 2018 season just 24th in Pro Football Focus corner grades, behind teammate A.J. Bouye. He will need to get back to his 2017 All-Pro form to keep up with Hill.

When these teams met in Week 5 of last year, it resulted in a 30-14 blowout win for the Chiefs. Let’s see if anything changes in the 2019 version of this matchup.
