The Oregon Ducks are your 2020 Rose Bowl champions, winning on the unexpected legs of quarterback Justin Herbert in Pasadena. Herbert had a fairly meh passing day, throwing for 138 yards and one interception, but he scored three touchdowns in the win — including a 30-yards in the fourth quarter that gave Oregon its final 28-27 victory over the Wisconsin Badgers.
It was not a pretty game, but Oregon’s defense was the difference-maker. They forced the four Badger turnovers, including a fumble on the play before Herbert gave Oregon its final lead. Danny Davis fumbled the ball after a four-yard gain and linebacker Bryson Young picked it up for Oregon. On the next play, Herbert faked a handoff, put a move on a Badger defender and was off to the races.

The 2020 NFL Draft is just under four months away. LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is viewed as the overwhelming favorite to go No. 1 when the Cincinnati Bengals make their selection. After that, it’s wide open for quarterbacks.
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said he’ll make his Draft decision by next Monday. Utah State quarterback Jordan Love has entered the draft. The Dolphins, Chargers, Jaguars, and a handful of other teams will be looking for a quarterback of the future. Some will invest a first round pick and others will wait, but there will likely be three or four quarterbacks going in the first round. Nothing is certain after Burrow, so Herbert has a legitimate chance at being the second quarterback off the board in April.
