The San Francisco 49ers head into halftime of the Divisional round with a 14-10 lead on the Minnesota Vikings. The 49ers get the ball back to start the second half and DraftKings Sportsbook has installed them as a 2.5 point second half favorite (UPDATE: The line is moving back and forth between 2.5 and 3.5). The second half point total is 21.5.
The 49ers were in position to take a commanding lead heading into halftime only to have Jimmy Garoppolo throw an interception with 2:41 to go. He somehow missed Eric Kendricks, who picked it off to set Minnesota up at the 29. The Vikings settled for a field goal to close out the first half.
Kirk Cousins is off to a solid start, completing 10 of 12 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. Dalvin Cook has been shut down thus far — rushing six times for 11 yards — and Cousins has responded in the passing game. He found Stefon Diggs for a 41-yard catch and run touchdown over 49ers cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon.
Garoppolo has completed 8 of 13 passes for 105 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Deebo Samuel has three receptions for 42 yards and Raheem Mostert leads the 49ers with 34 yards on six rushing attempts.
