The Sunday Divisional Round matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers will feature one defense/special teams unit looking to find momentum, and another that’s picking up steam. You usually don’t depend on defense/special teams picks to score a ton of points in fantasy football, but the right choice can make a big difference in the final result.
Both Green Bay has been solid defensively this year, but is coming off a close game against the depleted Detroit Lions. The Packers have had a fair amount of rest, but they’ll have to bring their best against the Seahawks this weekend. Seattle held the Philadelphia Eagles to nine points in the Wild Card Round.
Fantasy football analysis: D/ST for Packers and Seahawks
The Seahawks tallied a season high seven sacks against the Eagles last week and did a good job bottling up their rushing attack, which had been pretty successful entering the postseason. Seattle also has a top 10 scoring offense and Green Bay hasn’t held an opponent to single digits on the scoreboard since Week 1.
Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Seattle and Sit Green Bay.
