The Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans each put together unbelievable performances in the Divisional round and are setting up what could be a fun AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs will host the Titans next Sunday at 3:05 p.m. ET. DraftKings Sportsbook has installed the Chiefs as a 7.5-point favorite and the point total sits at 51.
The Titans stunned the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, marking their third straight road win and second upset of the playoffs. They jumped on Baltimore early with Ryan Tannehill throwing a pair of touchdowns. He barely needed to throw the rest of the way as Derrick Henry took charge and rushed for 195 yards while also throwing a three-yard touchdown. The Titans defense suffocated Lamar Jackson and company for most of the night. Jackson ended the game with big numbers, but they came in garbage time as the team was unable to turn it around.
The Chiefs were punched in the nose out of the gate against Houston and trailed 24-0 early in the second quarter. They would then put together a 51-7 run to win 51-31 in a game that showcased how absurd their offense can be.
These two teams squared off in Tennessee back in Week 10. Henry keyed the effort with 188 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Tannehill added 181 yards and two touchdowns. Patrick Mahomes threw for 446 yards and three touchdowns, but the Chiefs defense was thrashed and the Titans blocked a field goal in the closing seconds to hold on for the win.
