The Houston Texans stunned the Kansas City Chiefs in the first quarter of the Divisional round, racing out to a 21-0 lead at the end of the period. They added a field goal to open the second quarter and it felt like the rout was on.

Chiefs fan “Big Buck Chuck” decided to take matters into his own hands. He left the game near the end of the first quarter hoping that this would help spur the comeback. There are numerous stories of fans leaving a blowout early only to see their team come back and secure an unexpected win.

The Chiefs have indeed come back from the 24-0 deficit and now lead 48-31 midway through the fourth quarter. The offense scored 41 straight points before Houston finally got back on the board. Patrick Mahomes and company have been on fire and are just about en route to the AFC Championship Game.

And we all know Chuck is the one to thank. He sacrificed for the greater good, and if you bet the Chiefs -10, you should be sending a thank you note to Chuck.
