The Divisional round is a wrap, and we’re one step closer to determining the next Super Bowl champion. The AFC Championship Game is set for this coming Sunday, and we’ll see the second seeded Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Wild Card upstart Tennessee Titans for a chance to play in Super Bowl 54. The game is scheduled for Sunday, January 19th, with kickoff set for 3:05 p.m. ET. The game will air on CBS.
The Titans stunned the Ravens in the Divisional round, jumping on top 14-0 and never really letting up. Their defense shut down Lamar Jackson and company for much of the first three quarters. Meanwhile, Derrick Henry continued his recent dominance, rushing for 195 yards and throwing a three-yard touchdown. This weekend will mark their fourth straight must-win road game.
The Chiefs won a wild one over the Texans in the Divisional round. Houston jumped on top 24-0 and looked like they would cruise to the upset. Instead, Patrick Mahomes and the offense got in gear and crushed Houston. The Chiefs outscored the Texans 51-7 from that point en route to a 51-31 win.
