LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is having an absolutely monster season, and he’s putting on a show in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Through two quarters of play, Chase has caught five passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns. The rest of the LSU pass catchers have eight receptions for 93 yards.
Chase entered the game with 75 receptions for 1,559 yards and 18 touchdowns. The two additional touchdowns bump him to 20 and he is tied with four other players for the ninth most receiving touchdowns in a single season.
