Allen Lazard listed as limited at Wednesday practice

The Packers are a bit banged up at wide receiver behind Davante Adams. We break down the news heading into the Conference Championship practice week.

The Green Bay Packers kicked off their practice week on Wednesday as they prepare to face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The team has a sizable injury report, but there was nothing shocking about it. Wide receiver Geronimo Allison is dealing with an illness and sat out and Jimmy Graham got a veteran’s day off.

Most notable on offense is Allen Lazard showing up as limited due to an ankle injury. He was on the report last week with the injury, but he was a full participant all three days. This is a downgrade from that, but it’s still better than a DNP.

Lazard played in only 31 percent of the team’s snaps and aggravated the ankle injury in the second quarter. His status is uncertain for Sunday, but we’ll have a better handle on things as the Thursday and Friday reports arrive. Jake Kumerow took over for Lazard and was the No. 2 receiver the rest of the way. Geronimo Allison and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are getting significantly more inconsistent workloads of late.
