Who to bet on between Davante Adams and George Kittle

Davante Adams and George Kittle are both threats to have big performances in this weekend’s NFC title game. We break down a receiving yards prop bet.

Draftkings Sportsbook will have several prop bets available for this weekend’s AFC and NFC title games. The Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers will have players in the prop bet pool. We broke down which player you should bet on recording the most receiving yards between Davante Adams and George Kittle.

Most receiving yards: Packers WR Davante Adams (-134) or 49ers TE George Kittle (+106)

Adams has been the lone star of Green Bay’s receiving corps all year and should be tested by San Francisco’s secondary in the NFC title game. Adams had one of his best performances of the year in the Divisional Round, as he caught eight passes for 160 yards and two scores. He was targeted 11 times in the contest — his lowest mark since Week 14. It’s safe to say Adams’ targets will reach double-digits for a fifth straight game on Sunday, as none of the Packers’ other pass catchers have been able to emerge as a reliable option.

Kittle’s Divisional Round was on the other end of the spectrum. The first-team All-Pro only managed to haul in three receptions for 16 yards against the Minnesota Vikings, but was invaluable as a blocker. However, blocking doesn’t show up on the stat sheet. It’s unlikely that Kittle will have another underwhelming game this weekend, but he’s only been targeted more than eight times once this season. San Francisco has an elite defense it can depend on and more options offensively, so it shouldn’t feel the need to go for big plays down the field like Green Bay.

Betting Recommendation:

Neither option stands out too much here, but Adams seems like the safe choice. Green Bay will likely need a huge game from him to win.
