Tennessee Titans WR Adam Humphries (ankle) is officially active for the AFC Championship game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs. He has been dealing with an ankle injury all week, but was able to return to practice. The Titans had been hopeful Humphries would be able to play after being sidelined since Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy Football analysis: Tennessee Titans WR Adam Humphries
It’s been a long layoff for Humphries, who has been out for a while now. He’s only $3,000 on the DraftKings two-game Championship game slate and $1,200/$800 on the Showdown slate. That should tell you all you need to know about whether to play Humphries or not.
It doesn’t seem like he’s 100% and he likely wouldn’t see many snaps anyway. It also doesn’t help that the Titans’ game plan throughout the playoffs has been to force-feed RB Derrick Henry. QB Ryan Tannehill has only attempted 29 passes in two playoff games. So if you’re playing playoff DFS, I’d say Humphries is an easy fade. He only eclipsed 10 fantasy points three times during the regular season and never had more than six receptions in a game.
