The Tennessee Titans are throwing out everything including the kitchen sink in the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs. OC Arthur Smith decided to dial up a play action pass to offensive tackle Dennis Kelly to give Tennessee a 17-7 lead midway through the second quarter. According to CBS, Kelly is the heaviest player to ever catch a playoff touchdown.
The touchdown capped a 15-play, 75 yard drive that took 9:07 off the clock starting late in the first quarter. Derrick Henry is chugging along with 61 rushing yards, but Ryan Tannehill is getting a chance to make plays. He’s thrown for 114 yards and one touchdown in the first half.
