The Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl 54. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. on FOX and the Chiefs have opened as a 1.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. The point total opened at 53 points and climbed to 53.5 by the end of the first evening following the conference title games.
There will be plenty to wager on in the coming game. We’ll have the basics like the point spread and total. You’ll be able to bet on who will score the first touchdown and who will score a touchdown at any point. You’ll be able to bet the MVP and the coin toss, and there are sportsbooks where you can bet on the National Anthem length, aspects of the halftime show, and the color of the liquid dumped on the winning coach.
The injury reports will be critical for determining what props to bet on. For example, if 49ers running back Tevin Coleman’s shoulder injury were to cost him the game, backup Jeff Wilson would likely be active. If that happens, he becomes an intriguing anytime touchdown option.
We’ll be tracking all of that and what will impact it along the way for the next two weeks leading up to Super Bowl LIV.
