Super Bowl 54 is still 11 days away, but we have an early front-runner for biggest wager on the game. DraftKings Sportsbook announced they have received a $684,000 wager on the San Francisco 49ers as 2-point underdogs. The bettor bought a half point which lowered the odds from -110 to -114. It would pay out $1,285,920.
This is the biggest publicly announced bet received thus far for any sportsbook, according to ESPN’s Ben Fawkes. The next closest is a $187,000 money line bet (+107) at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races in West Virginia.
DraftKings Sportsbook has the 49ers installed as 1.5-point underdogs and +108 on the money line. The Chiefs are currently -122 on the money line midway through the bye week. The 49ers are currently leading the way in money bet on both the point spread and money line at DK.
