Heat back court hurting despite Jimmy Butler return vs. Clippers

Goran Dragic, Kendrick Nunn and Justise Winslow are all sidelined, so Butler doesn’t have much help in the back court vs. LA.

Miami Heat SG Jimmy Butler is available to play Friday night vs. the Los Angeles Clippers, but he’ll be without Goran Dragic, Kendrick Nunn and Justise Winslow.

The Heat are pretty ravaged in the back court there and are down to basically no true PG on the roster for Friday. Butler will likely handle the ball with Duncan Robinson playing SG and Tyler Herro rotating in at the 2 and 3. Derrick Jones Jr. may also see some time in the back court as well.

Fantasy basketball analysis: Miami Heat back court

Butler ($8,400) is a great GPP play in this spot. No Patrick Beverley for the Clips makes this matchup a little softer, though we could see Kawhi Leonard guard Butler. If that’s the case, I still don’t mind the play given Butler’s usage should be insanely high with no Dragic or Nunn. Robinson ($4,400) is a great value and same goes for Tyler Herro ($4,600), who I like a lot in tournaments. Derrick Jones Jr. ($3,800) more of a risk but also should see more minutes.
