San Antonio Spurs PF/C LaMarcus Aldridge will not play in Monday’s game vs. the Chicago Bulls. Aldridge is dealing with a sprained right thumb, the team announced this afternoon. So San Antonio won’t have a key front court big in a matchup in which bigs can exploit against the Bulls.
#Spurs will be without LaMarcus Aldridge when they face the Bulls tonight in Chicago in the second game of a back to back. He is suffering from a sprained right thumb, the team announced.

Fantasy basketball analysis: San Antonio Spurs PF/C LaMarcus Aldridge
This is unfortunate for fantasy basketball owners considering the Bulls are ravaged in the front court without Wendell Carter Jr., Daniel Gafford and Lauri Markkanen. Aldridge likely would have been a chalk play at $7,200 on DraftKings, but now we’ll have to look elsewhere. DeMar DeRozan ($8,200) gets a nice boost. Jakob Poeltl ($3,200) is the chalk value though. He should start in place of Aldridge at center. Trey Lyles ($3,400) should also pick up some more minutes.
