UPDATE: Jan. 29, 8:34 p.m. — Mark Berman is reporting that both Harden and Capela will play, as expected. Harden has been in a dreadful shooting slump lately, but perhaps the couple games off will help to get him out of his funk.

Houston Rockets SG James Harden and C Clint Capela are both questionable to play in Wednesday’s game vs. the Portland Trail Blazers. Harden has missed the past two games due to a thigh injury, while Capela was held out on Monday against the Utah Jazz.
Fantasy basketball analysis: Houston Rockets SG James Harden, C Clint Capela
With both Harden and Capela out on Monday, Eric Gordon has the game of his life. Somehow Gordon scored 50 points on Utah and only hit six 3-pointers. He went 14-22 from the field and got to the line 20 times. It’s safe to say if Harden is back, we won’t see that from Gordon again. But if Harden remains out, Gordon will be an attractive value play on DraftKings and is worth streaming in season-long again.
As for Capela, we saw Danuel House Jr. start in his place and play a game-high 46 minutes against Utah. Yes — 46 minutes — in a game that didn’t go to overtime. So again, if Cap is sidelined, House is a strong value option depending on the price and also a streamer.
