So you think narratives don’t matter? Tell that to Anthony Davis

If you are one of those people who doesn’t believe that narratives exist in sports, well, tell that to Anthony Davis. The Los Angeles Lakers welcomed in Davis’ former team, the New Orleans Pelicans, on Friday night.

All Davis did was put up 40 points. Again. The last time these two teams faced each other, Anthony Davis ($10,300) went off for 41 points and nine rebounds. Well, he pretty much duplicated that performance with 46 points and 13 rebounds with three steals for 73.25 DKFP in the Lakers win. Davis had gone five straight games without reaching 60+ fantasy points, so we can all thank the narrative for the massive outing, right? Yep. Remember this everyone: When Anthony Davis plays the Pelicans, you play him on DraftKings. It’s a pretty simple concept.

LeBron James ($11,200) also helped out by posting 17 points with 15 assists and eight rebounds for 54.50 DKFP. Danny Green had a big night shooting the ball with 25 points, five assists and five rebounds for 45.75 DKFP at $3,700 price on DraftKings, a major value play on the slate.
