UPDATE: Feb. 1, 1: 47 p.m. — Walker and Kanter are both going to be out Saturday night against the Sixers. Walker is expected to miss another game or two after that. Kanter had a shot to return to the lineup for the first time in a week or so, but still has that hip injury. With both still out, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum and Gordon Hayward will see almost all the usage on offense.

Boston Celtics PG Kemba Walker and C Enes Kanter are both questionable to play in Saturday’s game vs. the Philadelphia 76ers.

Walker has been in and out of the injury report lately and it’s because of the knee he’s had surgery on a few times. This seems a bit more like a precaution and Walker could be held out to give the knee a rest. Kanter has missed the past four games due to a hip issue, but hadn’t been questionable all week. If Kanter gets back, that would be huge for the front court.

Fantasy basketball analysis: Boston Celtics PG Kemba Walker

In the event that Walker is sidelined, it’s obviously a good spot for both Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart. I’d also expect Gordon Hayward to handle the ball a little bit more as well. With Kanter back, nobody is directly impacted much. Daniel Theis wasn’t much of a fantasy option, same goes for Grant Williams. If Walker is out, the Sixers would be a more appealing bet. You could check the lines tomorrow and see if they’re advantageous before we get word on Kemba.
