As expected, New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman will be taking the field against the Tennessee Titans Saturday in the Wild Card round. The longtime Patriot has been battling knee and shoulder injuries for a few weeks but got the go-ahead on game day. Edelman is likely the team’s most important offensive weapon, and Tom Brady will be glad to have his most trustworthy target.

Fantasy Football Analysis: New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman

Edelman might not be a superstar in the regular season, but he performs like one in the playoffs. Since making his postseason debut in 2009, he has racked up 1,412 receiving yards. That’s more than the Minnesota Vikings’ entire team has totaled (1,377) since 2009. Although Edelman’s production fell off toward the end of the year, you should expect his involvement in the Patriots offense to jump on Saturday. He’ll likely be targeted early and often against the Titans.
