Sunday’s NBA slate will be a light one, as only four games will be featured to wrap up the week. There will be a good mix of elite talent and rising stars on the docket, beginning with the first game of the night.
The Portland Trail Blazers (15-21) and Miami Heat (25-10) will kick things off at 6 p.m. ET. Portland stars Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum will look to gain momentum while visiting a Miami team that’s exceeded all expectations after signing Jimmy Butler to a max deal. The Trail Blazers are outside of the playoff picture in the Western Conference. The Heat only trail the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference.
Then the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies will face off at 8 p.m in a battle between two of the NBA’s more talented young cores. Memphis’ rookie of the year candidate Ja Morant has played well alongside fellow rookie Brandon Clarke and Jaren Jackson while Devin Booker has scored at least 32 points in each of Phoenix’s last five contests.
Here are the initial lines for tonight’s five-game slate on DraftKings Sportsbook:
