The Wild Card round is a wrap and we’re on to what might be the best weekend of NFL football this month. The Divisional round opens next week, and the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens will host the Wild Card upstart Tennessee Titans in the AFC Divisional round. The game is scheduled for Saturday, January 11th, with kickoff set for 8:15 p.m. ET. The game will air on CBS. The winner will advance to the AFC Championship Game to face the winner of the Chiefs-Texans Divisional round matchup.
The Ravens earned home field advantage in the AFC playoffs thanks to a 14-2 record that included a 12-game win streak to close out the season. Mark Ingram and Mark Andrews were both banged up to close the season, but the team was able to get some key starters rest in Week 17 and then again during the bye week.
The Titans claimed the second wild card berth with a 9-7 record. They knocked off the third-seeded Patriots in the Wild Card round, with Derrick Henry rolling over the New England defense to the tune of 204 total yards. Ryan Tannehill struggled in the game, but didn’t take enough off the table to cost them. Logan Ryan capped the 20-13 win with a pick-six in the closing seconds.
Baltimore opened as a ten-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set at 48. The Ravens finished the regular season 10-5-1 against the spread and went over the point total nine times. The Titans finished the regular season 10-7 ATS and went over the point total ten times. They covered vs. the Patriots in the Wild Card round with an outright win and the point total came in under.
