In the paint, the Atlanta Hawks had no answer for Nikola Jokic ($9,400). His career-high 47 points led to a massive fantasy night and poured in 72.5 DKFP. This pulls the Joker out of small rut. Before tonight, he had scored under 35 DKFP in four consecutive games. A couple of those games were blowouts where he saw limited minutes and it looks like Jokic is fine to roster going forward.
Even though it was another losing night for the Hawks, Trae Young ($9,800) had a double-double and 52 DKFP. Playing against a tough Denver Nuggets’ defense, Young kept the offense afloat. He needed to carry the offense even more than usual since John Collins ($7,500) struggled with fouls, which limited him to just 28 minutes. Collins’ foul woes were very much tied into the big game from Jokic. Collins was tasked with guarding the All-Star center in the second half and wasn’t able to avoid fouling.
