This week we add Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Garoppolo to our ranks. You won’t be surprised to see Jackson and Mahomes as the clear one and two quarterbacks for the Divisional round. Both get good matchups and both are matchup proof.
After those two things get a bit murkier, but DeShaun Watson has found ways to put up good numbers all season and is sitting solidly as the No. 3. After those three, Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers should play off each other in a game that could end up hitting the over with these two quarterbacks putting their teams on their backs.
Ryan Tannehill and Kirk Cousin both have tough matchups, but Tannehill has been consistent while Cousins has shown good upside this season. All of the bye teams get an advantage with an extra week of practice, rest and game planning, so even though Jimmy Garoppolo hasn’t put up good numbers, but he gets a pretty good matchup at home on Saturday against a Vikings team coming off a Sunday overtime win as big underdogs in New Orleans.
