The Denver Broncos and New York Jets will kick off Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season with a Thursday Night Football at MetLife Stadium. The game will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET and will be aired on NFL Network.
The Broncos and Jets are both entering Week 4 with 0-3 records and are looking to get their first wins of the season. Neither side will be at full strength, as there plenty of key players have been affected by injuries. Denver won’t have Courtland Sutton (knee), Phillip Lindsay (toe), and Drew Lock (shoulder). New York won’t have Le’Veon Bell, who is n the IR with a hamstring injury. Wide receivers Jamison Crowder, Breshad Perriman, and Chris Hogan are also dealing with injuries. The Broncos have more offensive firepower and are favored to win at -148.
The season-opening Thursday game was on NBC and most of the 2020 TNF slate will air simultaneously on FOX, Amazon Prime, and NFL Network. However, for Weeks 2, 3, and 4 the games are airing exclusively on NFL Network.
Some basic cable packages offer NFL Network, but some put it on a higher-priced sports tier. If you don’t have access to it, or you won’t be in front of a television tonight, but still want to watch the game, there are some options for getting a live stream. If you have YouTube TV or FuboTV, you can find NFL Network.
The game is often a little bit delayed on live streams, but usually it’s only between 30 and 60 seconds behind the TV broadcast. That can impact you if you’re on Twitter during the game, but otherwise it’s an easy option.
The Broncos opened as 2.5 point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, but the line has swung with Jets money to the point that New York is now a two-point favorite. I think Denver could have covered the 2.5 points when they were favored, so they’re worth a look as an underdog. Melvin Gordon will get most of the carries for Denver, bur Jerry Jeudy and Noah Fant will give the Broncos’ Jeff Driskel option through the air. Sam Darnold has no go-to guy and Frank Gore starting at running back, which doesn’t bode well for his production.
