What to do with Will Fuller, Brandin Cooks, Randall Cobb in Week 5 fantasy football

In the first game of the post-Bill O’Brien era, how will the Texans’ receivers fare as they face the Jaguars this Sunday?

NFL: Houston Texans at Pittsburgh Steelers Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Houston Texans have obviously had themselves an eventful week after the organization officially axed head coach/general manager Bill ‘Brien on Monday.

Now officially in the post-B.O.B era, how will the trio of receivers Will Fuller, Brandin Cooks and Randall Cobb perform as the 0-4 Texans host the Jacksonville Jaguars for an AFC South showdown this Sunday?

Fantasy Football analysis: Texans WRs Will Fuller V, Brandin Cooks, Randall Cobb

Fuller was the only one of the three to have any meaningful impact in H-Town’s 31-23 loss to the Vikings last Sunday, catching six of his seven targets for 108 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Cobb put up a modest two receptions for 36 yards, and Cooks couldn’t bring in any of his three targets.

All three have been targeted by Deshaun Watson at least 18 times this season but only have combined for three scores through four games

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

The Jaguars’ defense is yielding a league-worst 77 percent in completion percentage on 8.4 yards per attempt, signaling an opportunity for the Texans’ offense to really air it out this week.

As far as recommendations go, Fuller is a definite start while Cobb is a good value play in DFS at $4,600 this week. I’d stay away from Cooks until he gets his receptions up.
