What to do with Mark Ingram, JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards in Week 5 fantasy football

The Ravens are committed to their running back committee.

The Baltimore Ravens are not shy about their committee approach to the running back position. It’s not the usual two-headed monster either. No, the Ravens are rolling with the trio of Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and J.K. Dobbins, frustrating fantasy owners. However, with the Ravens double-digit favorites over the Bengals this week, could one of those three be of some value?

Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens RBs Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and J.K. Dobbins

Baltimore’s offense run through quarterback Lamar Jackson. He leads the team in rushing attempts and yardage, though Ingram and Dobbins both have an edge in rushing touchdowns (they each have two to Jackson’s one.) Of the three, none of them have really been heavily favored in the offensive game plan through four weeks of play.

One thing that could be different this week, however, is that the Ravens are likely to build up a nice lead that they can sit on late. That happened two weeks ago against the Texans, and in that game, Edwards got most of the work in cleanup duty, finishing with 73 yards on 10 carries. Still, that’s a dicey proposition to bet your fantasy results on this week. Overall, Ingram still has the most fantasy value, but his role is inconsistent enough that you can find other options.
