In spite of their overall disarray on the Washington Football Team, running back Antonio Gibson has been something of a bright spot on offense. He’s also been a decent and somewhat consistent option in fantasy football. So what about this week against the Rams?
Fantasy Football analysis: Washington RBs Antonio Gibson, JD McKissic
Gibson is still very much the preferred option in this offense. He’s scored a rushing touchdown in each of his last three games, while leading the team’s other running backs in touches. There’s a reason for that; he’s a legitimate talent. Last week playing from behind against the Ravens, Gibson ran the ball 13 times for 46 yards and caught four passes for 82 yards.
Washington is likely to be playing from behind again this week against the high-scoring Rams, which means more opportunities for Gibson on the ground and in the air. He’s a decent play this week for that reason.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Antonio Gibson.
