The Jacksonville Jaguars receiving trio of DJ Chark Jr., Laviska Shenault and Keelan Cole Sr. have all produced well even as the team has stumbled to three straight losses.
Can they continue this production on the road this Sunday when facing a Houston Texans franchise that has undergone massive upheaval this week?
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars WRs DJ Chark, Laviska Shenault Jr., Keelan Cole Sr.
After missing the Thursday nighter against the Dolphins, Chark reintroduced himself as Gardner Minshew’s favorite target last Sunday against the Bengals by hauling in eight of nine targets for 95 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the losing effort.
Right behind him was the rookie Shenault, who had a career best 86 yards on five receptions and Cole, who leads the team in receptions through four games with 19.
All three have combined for only six missed targets so far this season, establishing a great rapport with Minshew.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Opponents are completing 71% of their passes against the Texans but Houston has only given up 846 passing yards total, meaning they’ve done a decent job of limiting explosive plays through the air.
Chark is a definite start for Sunday’s game while Cole is a good value play in DFS at $4,700. Shenault is also a good value play but I’d air on the side of caution and sit him this week with his limited participation in practice on Wednesday.
